Technical assistance agreements

These are research contracts oriented for projects to solve specific problems that are of interest to a particular client (companies, government agencies, NGOs, etc.). Such agreement shall be characterized in that the customer defines the objective and covers completely or part of the cost.

Research and development

These are research projects that aim to advance knowledge and are focused in solving social or technical problems in the present and the future. They are generally financed or co-financed by public funds to improve technologically enterprises/ institutions providing human resources from the University, provision of equipment, logistics, databases, materials, research staff, etc. The non-academic partners benefit by participating in such projects because they can access the results of the investigation and, therefore, their potential applications. They can also establish networks of contacts with the academic staff participating in the collaboration and in this way project new works together.

High Level Technology Services (STAN)

SThese are services to third parties (companies, government agencies, NGOs, etc,) through which a highly specialized service is provided using equipment, infrastructure and knowledge of CONICET. The objective of STAN is to provide services which, because of their complexity, are difficult for entities to access or make due to the lack of the appropriate structure to carry them out.

Consulting and Advisory

Advisory and consulting refers to a work that does not require further investigation by the academic staff involved. The advice can be provided without payment for services rendered (giving evidence to government committees) or by payment for consulting services to companies and public administrations.
